THE HOBBIT By J.R.R. Tolkien

The Hobbit is a wonderful adventure. It is a prelude to The Lord of The Rings books. It is about a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who is not much of an adventurer, but faces many adventures with dwarfs and wizards who take the adventure with him.

This old classic will transport you into another world--just as if you were in the book, with Bilbo Baggins. If you ever wondered what Frodo's uncle's adventures were like, you should read this--especially since it's coming out as a movie later this year!

MOON OVER MANIFEST By Clare Vanderpool

This was a great book. It felt like you were going back in time, while kinda having a cool adventure with this little girl. She goes into a town that her father grew up in, to learn more about him. And learns more than she expected to.

This twisting tale includes friendship, adventure and sadness. I'm not the only one who thinks this is a great book, as it was a Nutmeg Award winner!

A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS by Lemony Snicket

My next book to review is the whole series of A Series of Unfortunate Events. This is an awesome series about orphans who experience lots of unfortunate events, mostly because of a guy named Count Olaf. The suspense and planning in this 13-book series is awesome, and will keep you reading. In fact, the first three books are out in a movie. The narrator is awesome and so is the series.

Please check out my little brother's movie blog!
