The Giving Tree is a really great book. It's been around since my mom was a little kid.It's about a boy who loves this tree so much that he plays with it all the time. Then he grows up and doesn't visit it for a while. Then he comes back, but he was too old to climb the branches and do all that stuff. Then he got even older and older and older, and the same thing happened.
I think you would love this book so much that you would read it all the time. I got it for my birthday when I turned seven, from my aunt.
