Ancient Greek Books

Were the books of Ancient Greece different from the books of today? Will we ever know? Maybe they had a different idea of what books were. Writing stories could have been something different. They where among the first to ever read books. Are there things about them that we don't know??

Author Profile: ERIC CARLE

Eric Carle writes many good picture books for children. He's a very famous, colorful painter.

He wrote The Grouchy Ladybug, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and many other books. He puts lots of colors in his pictures, and makes them very bright and beautiful. Sometimes, he just does pictures in his books, and sometimes he does words and pictures.

I think you should try all of Eric Carle's books. He's a very good author.

Go here and check out Eric Carle's official website!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND By Lewis Carroll

This book is really great. I just finished reading it, or soon, anyway. It's really interesting. The mad tea party chapter is really fun. I really think you should try it. It's a classic. It also has a little bit of Lewis Carroll's poetry in it.

My mom was reading it to me not so long ago. I hope you enjoy reading it.
